While there is seldom a chance to capture life I turn down, I often say weddings are among the most rewarding. To share in the union of two with love, excitement, and emotions on full display, all in such wonderful settings, is moving every time. You can imagine how flattered I am when asked by a couple to also photograph the first portrait of their child. There are so many beautiful ways to show a baby’s fragile innocence and vulnerability, or the love of a mom & dad toward their new arrival. Conversations with parents about a baby’s first portrait are as much fun as taking them. I hope you enjoy this wonderful 1-week old – simply precious!
